Jane Yunker is a poet and fiction writer living in northwest Wisconsin along the St Croix River where she takes her inspiration from the beautiful views that surround her . Most recent publications include Creative Wisconsin, Oshkosh Independent, Living and Playing Magazine, Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets’ calendar (2014, 2015 and 2016), Red Cedar 2015 and 2016 (UW Barron County), and the Hometown Gazette. She won the Saturday Evening Post’s 2014 Easter limerick contest.
Jane is a 2016 finalist in the WisRWA FabFive competition, historical category, for her first women’s fiction novel, Mary Bishop. She is a 2018 finalist in the WisRWA FabFive competition, historical category, for her second women’s fiction novel, The Healing Heart.
She is a member of the Wisconsin Writers’ Association (WWA), The Northern Lakes Writers Guild, Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets (WFOP), Romance Writers of America (RWA), the Wisconsin chapter of Romance Writers of America (WisRWA), and the Romantic Womens Fiction (RWF) online chapter of RWA.
